Analysis of House of Gloom
The house was empty, dark, and bare;
So much neglect since folks lived there.
It used to be a family home
Where parents watched their children roam
As well as see them play and grow
Through years of life, they came to know.
Now windows barred all seemed to say,
"Keep out to all who come this way."
The trees that used to be so strong,
Now look as though they don't belong
Since they are also old and bare
From many years of being there.
But maybe one day there will be
Someone who will replace each tree
And fix the house so it will show
The beauty it had years ago.
