Analysis of Aliens

Ronald Bunch 1982 (Grand Rapids)

Stretching out all the mass of the milky way,
They reach us with their light is what I say.

We see the starlit night
And we must never give up the fight.

The fight of finding alien life
With telescopes and robots not strife.

But never fear,
For the aliens may already know we 're here.

And if the aliens know we 're here,
They may be peaceful and near.

But if the aliens want war,
There will be nothing left of humans anymore.
