Analysis of Reach and Hold

To reach and hold will forever exist. To reach and hold I seem to forever forget. To reach a soul is the deepest reach, To forget your life is the deepest regret.  To forget your life like you never exist, to reach a soul I’ll always persist. Weak and down, you reach for the clouds, where the souls lay, they’ll never let me down. A reach in the clouds is a persistent soul, reaching out looking for more.  This life I give, I question more, but the love I give must be adored. For the souls who watch, for the the souls that take, If it was poker it would be high stakes. For the heart i give and the love I take, soul makers will mate. For the cries I shed and the tears I break, soul makers will jump that gate. For questions and worries that might arise, in Gods hands are alway on time. Love yourself more than you’ll ever give, for you will have lived twice the life you gave.

About this poem

It’s about reaching a person. Giving your all, your soul and maybe still that’s not good enough. To find the strength within yourself to accept the love for yourself.
