Analysis of Bright Corner

Polate Hlatshwayo 2001 (Manzini)

Bright in the corner where you are
The pen is heavy, no scale can read
Ink so thick to leave the pages wet
Just before you read, let it bleed
With this light I still seek inspiration

OOh these angels above my head
Out of my head I give the Lord praise
Temple time shining in disguise
As this vowels feel the lines
Excited to repeat this from time to time

With these hands my fingers count
One to five out of ten I barely touch
I close my eyes when I've seen enough
It only gets dark to get bright again
Bright in the corner where you are

They will find this hard to believe
Not knowing that faith objects
Within the temple and it is fortune
In mind that deceives the heart
The light is so bright and this time
Around my eyes are closed

The light shines so bright I feel
The heaven hosts, the temple inside
Is filled with Joy, Light inside
To shine the walls too high
Temple time likes to say good bright
