Analysis of July 7th, 2:04 am

I used to hate that new guy you are hanging out with everyday
I used to send photos of him to my friends and we’d laugh about how his existence is a complete waste
I hated the clothes he’d wear
and the ridiculous way he would style his greasy hair
I found the way he talked quite irritating and the stupid pout he’d do in photos infuriating
recently I realized the only reason I hated him was because he has you
it’s easier to dislike him when I don’t even know him
because in my head I’m waiting until eventually you realize it’s me you want instead
it isn’t his fault you’re too indecisive, immature and independent
just like how it isn’t your fault I was too selfish, jealous and distant
I was hating on the people who get to hang around you because your attention you used to be mine
there was a time when you were fully mine
the people you know don’t deserve the way I criticize their entire being just for being with you or simply breathing
it’s not their fault I walked away and you let go so easily
