Analysis of THE BOTTLE

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

I look down at this bottle I drank from for many years. It s not the bottle you are thinking of, for it holds no spirits, only the many I care about and care not to have. What is contained inside is something that I tend to hide in times when I tend not to admit that this disease  is me, but not even though I embrace it with much anger, hate, and love, it is not who I am meant to be, yet my mind wonders if it was meant to be set free
