Analysis of Loss and Gain
I've journeyed here, I've journeyed there.
Sometimes for work that followed prayer,
Not knowing what I'd find.
I've also seen the places I
Had hope that I would soon rely
And not leave it behind.
Some things were gained in restless years.
Some things were lost and caused me tears.
I've learned a lot that way.
I've learned that chance affects somehow
The ways that led me here and now.
I've also learned it helps to pray.
