Analysis of My Friend the Wall
Jacquelyn Halt 1986 (Pittsburgh)
The only friend I have
Is the wall
It's there when I need it
It likes to listen to my problems
No one listens
Or cares
At least the wall
Will always be there
Even though
It doesn't talk back
I can talk away
It doesn't go away
I always know where
To find it
It's always in the same place
That's my friend the wall
Better than no one at all
