Analysis of Losing you

Losing you was harder than you could ever imagine
I miss your touch and smell
Who would've thought I would experience this famine
Nothing on earth can explain how hard I fell
Guess you don't know what youve lost until its gone
You were good and I was healing
And like a battle I have withdrawn
How do I get rid of this horrible feeling
Of thinking what did I do wrong or what could I have done better
The famine of love became a famine of trust and kindness
How could I forget her
I hope I can put this behind us
But this scar is deeper than the pacific ocean and Im bound to bleed out
But if it meant bleeding out beside you
There's nothing I would complain about
My final breathes in your arms would be my happy ending
Closing my eyes as my body goes cold and the rhythm of my heart beats start to slow down
But the feeling of you near warming my pale corpse
In this endless sea I'll drown
