Analysis of Si
Roberto Suárez Torres 1983 (New York)
Si conquistas por el amor
en una noche con dolor
del pasado,
tus palabras llenas de miel
sentidas en todo aquel
encontrado,
que elevan a la cima,
anclada yace la grima.
Pero, si niegas tu ardor
al que frío pide calor,
rechazado
su castillo se desploma
de lo alto en la loma,
destrozado
polvo come de su huerto,
cuenta ese día muerto.

About this poem
Este poema trata del dulce sabor que el amor le da a la vida, y el desazón, que el desamor y el rechazo, optados, en un corazón lamentablemente siembran.
