Analysis of Betrayal
Betrayed by you,
a wound that runs deep,
the pain lingers on,
and the memories creep.
We laughed and we talked,
shared secrets and dreams,
but now it's all gone,
ripped apart at the seams.
You promised to be true,
to stand by my side,
but when the going got tough,
you ran and you hide.
I thought we were solid,
unbreakable, strong,
but when the chips were down,
you proved me wrong.
