Analysis of A Father less Son
The Fatherless Son
He walks alone on this earth
A man without a father's birth
His mother was drugged, he never knew
The face of the man who was his due
He grew up without a dad
His life was often sad
He wondered who he could have been
If only he knew his father's kin
He searched for answers high and low
But his father's name he could not know
He felt a hole deep in his soul
A void he couldn't make whole
But he never gave up on the quest
To find the man who'd given him his flesh
He hoped that one day he'd finally see
The face of the father he was meant to be
Until then, he lived his life
With strength and courage, without strife
He knew he was more than his past
And his father's absence couldn't last
For he was a man in his own right
A shining star in the darkest night
His mother's love had helped him grow
Into the man he was meant to know.
