Analysis of Discrimination Sin
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Have you no faith in our Lord?
Showing another with respect;
Partiality be ignored,
Never to another neglect.
If a man wearing a gold ring,
And with fine clothing comes in church;
Are you treating him like a king?
Over a poor man that would lurch.
Do you show one with more value,
Than the other sits in the back;
Letting attention to pursue,
Rather than the one who would lack.
Partiality as a judge,
Makes you think more of another;
Evil thoughts will carry a grudge,
Of the poor soul as a brother.
God did not choose those with wealth,
Over those with faith that is poor;
He looks to heal spiritual health,
Giving us all a chance to cure.
The poor never try to despise,
By catering to the wealthy;
The Lord who is noble and wise,
Make all spiritually healthy.
No one who would ever blaspheme,
Be called an honorable name;
While one with humbled esteem,
God casts glory as to proclaim.
