Analysis of Humble Christian
Look not just your own interest,
But the interests of others;
Any time that you may invest,
Will help your sisters and brothers.
Keep this in mind, which is in Christ,
Though He was in the form of God;
To be equally sacrificed,
Your time and talents that you laud.
He had made no reputation,
Taking the form of a servant;
But ensures our salvation,
In showing love that is fervent.
He was born the likeness of man,
And being found in human form;
Since the Father had in His plan,
Persuading others to reform.
He was obedient to death,
Even the death upon the cross;
His task was finished at last breath,
Being our gain at His loss.
God has exalted and bestowed,
The name above all other names;
Cleaning the slate that we have owed,
Through our faith that it proclaims.
In the name of Jesus, all knees bow,
Both upon and under the earth;
Through faith, the Father will endow,
By affording them a new birth.
All tongues confess Jesus is Lord,
With the glory to God the Father;
Show that He is loved and adored,
Never again blaspheme either.
