Analysis of The wind blew west

Nathan Hurstrom 1986 (Arizona)

My heart is full of fear
I step forward and no one is near
I look back and see my past
I have to keep going but not too fast
I have to have hope in my path forward
I must not follow the herd
I must be do this on my own
There is light that I was shown
The light is in the west
The light is brighter then the rest
The light is everything I could hope for
The light fills my hear to its core
The light is where I need to be
The light is where you are
You are my light
You are why I fight
You are who I live for
You are who I love
You are an angel from above
We can now journey together
We can endure forever
