Analysis of SAY IT LOUD

Sparklex 1996 (Bayelsa)

Don't say you love me,
If you don't mean it
If you love me, act it.
I want to feel it, through your action.

If you want me, reach out to me
If you care, show it
I love prove.

If we're such good chemistry
Why ain't we reacting, to get the spark?
Light me up, like a candle with your love.
I want to react to both chemical and physical reaction behind the love scene.

About this poem

The writer is speaking out her mind to her lover. The powerful three words shouldn't be used if one doesn't feel it.
