Analysis of The Burden of Love" by Kong Isadora Elspeth

My heart is heavy without you, my love,
A burden that I carry day by day,
A weight that I cannot shake or rise above,
A pain that will not ebb or go away.

I try to fill the void with empty things,
With books and movies, games and aimless flings.

But nothing truly satisfies my soul,
Nothing can replace the love we shared,
The moments of connection, love, and whole,
The blissful times that showed how much we cared.

Now all I have is this aching heart,
A vast, dark void where once we were a part.

I long for you in every breath I take,
I see you in the sunrise and the stars,
I feel your presence in the songs that make
Me think of you and all our love's memoirs.

But even though I call out to you,
My heart is heavy without you, it's true.

The memories we made still bring me joy,
And yet they only make me miss you more.
I try to find a way to fill the void,
But nothing seems to work as it did before.

My heart is heavy without you, my dear,
And every day it's harder to bear.

I know I must move on and try to heal,
To find a way to love and live again,
To learn to let go and to truly feel
That life goes on, despite the love we've slain.

But until then, my heart is heavy still,
A weight that I cannot shake or kill.

I hope someday the burden will be gone,
And I can love again without regret,
But until then, I'll sing this mournful song,
And hope that somehow, someday we'll re-connect.

For now, my heart is heavy without you,
But maybe, someday, we'll start anew.

I wonder if you feel the same as I,
If you miss me and long for what we had,
If you also lay awake and ask yourself why
We let our love slip away and become sad.

Do you also feel the burden of our love,
The weight of all the memories we shared,
The pain of knowing we cannot rise above
The fact that our love was once so rare?

Or maybe you've moved on, found someone new,
And your heart is light, free from all the pain.
Maybe you've forgotten all about me too,
And I'm just a memory that's long since waned.

But still, my heart is heavy without you,
And I cannot help but hope and dream,
That one day we'll reunite and start anew,
And our love will shine again like a sunbeam.

Until then, I'll carry this heavy load,
And try to find a way to ease the pain,
To learn to live and love, and find a new road,
And not let our past love be in vain.

For though my heart is heavy without you,
I know that life goes on, and so must I,
And one day I'll find a love that's true,
And my heavy heart will learn to fly.
