Analysis of Mutant
I wake up each day without knowing.
In the bitter winter cold morning.
A pale thin sunlight greets me through my
window blinds across my face.
Eyes still adjusting colors of blue and
gray flood my mind. Walking out through
these familiar streets like some kind of
Night Crawler. Who has been dormant.
I find myself remenscing about all the days
of future and past, still waiting to unveil.
Building brick by brick inside of me.
A new person to with-stand all that comes
my way.
Each scar, each bruise, each battered
bone making me stronger, better.
A modern day Wolverine, regenerated
keen and observant of each step I take.
Breaking sweats and always standing
tall. I walk among giants battling for my
purpose my reason for being here.
Among this concrete city. No Sentinel is
going to stand in my way.
Sometimes cold, sometimes unfair of
the outcomes. Other times like a big
Heat Wave. Trying to withstand this
Cold Front. Enemies that test what kind
of skin I am made of.
Telling myself Do I keep fighting? Or do
I let the roof fall on top of me. I take a
deep breath. Finding my inner strength
picking myself out of the rubble like a big Colossus.
Once the dust and debri settles I remain
focused standing like a rising Storm controlling the elements. A Phoenix from
the ashes burning fire through my core. I shed
my skin of my formal self. Into a new me a Mystique a Chamelon to blend to my
enemies.
A new mind a Professor X of new times.
Controlling my outcomes in these tough
times. Although the air keeps on blowing
and the tides keep on rising. I will keep
pace.
Nothing will stop me I will absorb, adapt
become a rebel Rogué. Become a villain to
out weight these times. A Beast constructed
of intelligence and endurance.
Remove away all the stands my way a
Magneto of some sort. Never forgetting
who I am inside. Terrorizing fear like some
Sabertooth animal.
Present times call for drastic measures.
Have to became ali and foe. Knowing
every trick I know. A Gambit of trade.
A Juggarnut of strength. All this as I go
about my day. With an arsenal of abilities
and assortment of personalities.
Always alert, Always prepared to what
crosses my path and what ever threat or
danger comes knocking at my door.
A brand new mutant. A gen-X in these
modern times.

About this poem
I wrote this poem because I am a fan of Marvel movies and X-men cómic books. This something I have been saving to submit. Let me know if you had a choice. What would your super power be?
