Analysis of Light Over Darkness
This once tortured heart of mine
Once asked for a sign,
Wondering how and when to escape
Before everything’s too late.
This once destroyed peace of mind,
Wants to leave everything behind.
To start searching for the light,
So, it will no longer fright.
This once unstoppable sorrow,
Didn’t know which direction to follow,
Wandering around to see,
Who will come and hear my plea.
Then one day I hear a voice saying,
“You don’t have to live in darkness.”
Then, I went down on my knees, praying,
“Please take away my weakness!”
Slowly, darkness starts fading away,
As the light begins to stay,
Now the life that once filled with mess,
Found the light over darkness.
