Analysis of WHY

Anthony Eddington 1973 (Riverside, ca)

Love, why has tho forsaken me? I gave my heart and soul to you, even when you kept breaking me. You took me through changes unseen to my heart, unknown to my mind. I love you, this I love you that still lead to me crying. Pain so deep it's like I have been cut with a knife. I yell help, I'm bleeding, but you give no reply. Why don't my tears matter? Why is my love pushed aside? How can you love me and leave me with not 1 tear in your eye? I took all you have thrown at me and never withered away. The lies, the cheating, I still decided to stay. Why don't I love me enough to free myself from this wrong ? I see you couldn't care less how I feel, but I still hold on. I'm not a bad man, just been dealt a bad hand. The whole time, I pray, asking God to step in. See, I was taught people don't leave people they love, they leave people they were using. Why did I fight for your love only to end up losing? WHY
