Analysis of Solace
Silent and sombre, the shroud of night
shrouds him in shadows, his past in sight.
Shattered memories, sharp as shattered glass,
a comfort in darkness, never to pass.
The veil of midnight, a velvety cloak,
envelops him gently, and never revoke.
A symphony of silence, a song of sorrow,
a lifetime of pain, will never borrow.
In the depths of darkness, his demons thrive,
dancing in the shadows, a twisted jive.
Their claws, like razors, his heart they rend,
in the veil of midnight, there's no way to mend.
Yet, he finds solace in the starless sky,
his brokenness a lullaby, a gentle sigh.
The night surrounds him, as broken pieces of his past,
darkness now a comfort, forever to last.
