Analysis of A place of my own
brandy peterson 1996 (cape may)
The shadows dance,
Across my room,
From headlights gliding by.
Stuck in a trance,
devoured by gloom,
I just want to know why.
Why am i sad?
Why can't you see?
I'm sick of feeling down.
I would be glad,
if you set me free,
to escape this damned town.
My tears just fall,
right down my face.
I sit here all alone.
I need to call,
and just find a place,
a place, to call my own.
