Analysis of WHO AM I?

WHO AM I?

My mother - A STRONG WOMAN
A woman of grit
Fiercely independent
Till she passed away at eighty six
A woman who faced all situations
From the front
She never used the words "I can't"
She never thought anything was beyond her
And as her daughter
That is what I Iearnt from her.

I AM A WOMAN
And from my mother I learnt
The sky's the limit
I worked hard at everything I did
I achieved things I never thought I could
I excelled as an educationist
I became a writer and a poet
Something that I had never imagined.

I AM A WOMAN
Caring and capable
Strong and powerful
Talented and determined
Loved and respected
I am taken seriously by men and women
Never shirked off as "Just a woman"
For they have seen the work I do
Challenges I meet, deadlines I keep
I am a woman
And so proud to be one.
