Analysis of JUST ANOTHER NIGHT
MY POEM
JUST ANOTHER NIGHT
There’s a harbor town I’ve been think’in about;
Siren shakes night’s silent bed.
Brings me back to the space I’m in;
Four walls around me still!
Ticking clock takes no time;
Counting days gone by.
Talk to me again tonight;
Talk to me again!
Tossing, turning, falling;
Chasing, running, slipping.
I dream of combination locks, and final exams;
I missed the bus again!
Sun creeps in like ticking clock;
Spinning wheels always in motion.
Energy in time and space;
I feel the air now getting colder!
