Analysis of wax
The candle goes out slowly
You almost don’t realize it’s done
Wax drips down your face
And It’s all my love you shun
So I take it back
and hide away
You selfish being
An idiot, I say
how could you be so stupid.
you thought it would last?
i feel like the child
i left in the past
small.
innocent.
oblivious.
tricked.
you burned the wax but you will not take the wick.
