Analysis of the story of she

Birth,
wrongful life, someone lied,
shed have been better off had she died

age three,
a sister betrayed by brother
come now let us reason together

age four,
an absentee father
and overworked mother

age five,
a missing God, feeling like noah with the fly away dove
where is He, the one my soul loves?

age seven,
a kiss on the lips
sweetest sin, nothing better than this

age eleven,
blade to skin, from flesh to blood running,
soaking her shirt like rivers flowing

age twelve,
a rib here, a rib there
count the threads of her thin hair

age fourteen,
jurys out the verdict set
nothing to be done for it

age eighteen,
thrust through the heart,
couldnt go through, a coward from the start

age twenty-six,
shes diagnosed schizophrenic,
lost in a dusty haze of a battle field, call forensic

age twenty nine,
healing, healed, but a relapse, dreading
still not sure of the direction im heading
