About this poem

This poem speaks to the love, mercy, and grace of God, and how remembering Him can bring joy and fulfillment to the narrator. God has no physical body; there is nothing like Him in any way whatsoever. The poem implies that God's love can be found in every aspect of life, from the smallest actions to the larger workings of the universe. The narrator is clearly filled with gratitude for God's gifts and finds comfort in His presence. The poem also serves as a reminder that no matter where we are, we should always remember God at all times. The narrator's joy in remembering God speaks to the power of faith and how it can sustain us even in the most difficult times.
