Analysis of How much longer

Monique 2004 (Manchester)

My sun is back,
My heart is filled,
How much longer till all I feel is dismal,
Waiting to be hurt,
Waiting to be saved,
A constant cycle I can’t see, to escape.

He sees my flaws, he sees my sins,
Yet he still loves me for what’s within,
How much longer till love turns to hate,
Right when I’m feeling great ,
My heart is crushed, my eyes are heavy,
In this moment I want to die already.
