Analysis of Bound To Play Games
Shawnice Pate 1991 (Brooklyn)
They play silly games after things are never the same.
It's an attack on the kind and soft hearted.
At times I have been watching out for them.
Despite my tedious tendencies to the online world.
You have to talk to me to know me.
Read my heart's words that's coming out.
My poetry is the spilled confessions on what I want to speak.
I feel them more than the assumptions I hear.
There's stories told of me but not about me.
Take the time to read and observe my nature.
My dialogue and actions are hardly false at all.
If one play games, they are bound to be about games.
