Analysis of The Nature of the Son
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
At many times, in many ways,
God has spoken through the prophets;
At sundry times throughout their days,
Iniquities of their debits.
We are living in the last days,
Has spoken to us by His Son;
Appointed as Heir all that stays,
Of the creation that was done.
The radiance of the glory,
Exact imprint of His nature;
And being the judge and jury,
Judging every living creature.
He upholds the whole universe,
And purification of all sin;
Abolishes the evil curse,
Purging the darkness deep within.
The right hand of the Royal High,
Next to the Father, He did sit;
Master to the angels that cry,
For what Jesus did inherit.
