Analysis of Pondering of Time

Andy Atkins 1973 (Rome, Ga)

As days go by like minutes,
I ponder many things.
Things gone by, things to come,
And things not meant to be.
I ponder how my life
has gotten to this point in time
when all my past comes back on me almost every time.
I ponder where I go from here
as friends come and go
while I continue to be myself and ponder what I know.
I sit and ponder about how thing could have been if I had took the time back then to ponder what I know.
