Analysis of Eating my soul
Holding the keys,
I'm shivering,
thinking about
opening the doors,
I'm fumbling
to find the right one.
But then I was lucky
to get it all Wrong.
The key which i put in
didn't "clank" the lock.
My heart seized in terror,
So suffocating, so freezing
pale complexion, rigid skin
growing in utter coldness.
Jamming my veins
Blood wants to ooze out,
Withering my remnants.
Slowly eating up my soul.
I'm holding up the keys,
Infront of "still" closed door
as my soul break down
Squeaking in tremor.

About this poem
This poem shows the uncertainty and terror within a teenager, thinking of his future. Whether he can win the upcoming quest or confront his fears. He has got only one chance to prove himself. He consistently fears if he could pass it.
