Analysis of "What if"

Oluwatosin 2004 (Rivers State)

What if?
I give up on this feeling.

What if?
I lose myself in the moment.

What if ?
I can't hold on waiting to hear from you.

What if?
I am losing hope.

What if?
Am getting weak.

Run quickly to me.
My hope is fading away like the night.

My smile dims by the tick of the clock.
My heart's sinks by the dawn of the day..

What if?
You came back and am no longer yours?

What if?
My feelings run away and I can't catch up.

You said it's over.

What if?
I said it has just began.

You said you're tired.

What if?
I want more.

You said you are weary.

What if?
Am still enthusiastic..

Do my feelings no longer matter?
Do they mean nothing to you?

What if?
I still hold on to those memories

What if?
The mention of your name still bring a smile on my face.

What if?
I still beam at the sight of you.

What if?
I don't wanna let go.

What do you want me to do?
