Analysis of In the night
A velvet touch
warmly glides
caressing me
as I lie
nestled in
a hollow formed
a warm place
I long to be
a flame flickers
soft glowing flame
longing to grow
to consume me
empty longing
wanting to be
with warmth filled
a hungry need
from a distance
a worried gaze
fretful watching
from far away
wanting yet
acting not
fearing now
to be replaced
full of need
to be filled
taking what
I might find
in the night
as I lie
on velvet touch
that I need
