Analysis of Still you were mine

Mrinal Chaturvedi 2006 (Buxar)

still you were mine,
No matter how far we have been,
No matter how long we have unseen,
No matter how much i was mean,
still you were mine.

still you were mine,
Although i was ignorant ,
Although we had arguments,
Although i was arrogant,
Although i got no remembrance,
still you were mine.

still you were mine,
While i was regularly boasting,
While i was suddenly ghosting,
While i was un apologetically roasting,
While i was selfishly enforcing,
still you were mine.

still you were mine,
Through the highs and the lows,
Forgave me on every apologies i owed,
Applauded heavily on every performance i showed,
walked together on every problematic roads,
Still i wonder
Why still you you were mine?

About this poem

Wrote this in peculiar bliss at twilight while in romantic mood. It's about my astonishment on the reactions I've had from my girlfriend. Hope you like it.
