Analysis of Emotional Crisis

They’d tell us to let go of the pain
To let the pain heal
To live past the scar
They’d always say “forgive and forget”
But little did they know of what the pain has cost me
Little do they know how deep into my flesh the scar goes
Little do they know the  wounds ain’t healing cos the memories are forever
Yes I’d try to get past the pain
But then I’d cross paths with memory
Little do they know how many pieces my heart has been broken too
Little do they know am still tryna pick myself up piece by piece
Little do they know ....
