Analysis of Dark

Archana sree 2005 (India)

I don't even know what to feel anymore,
Many promises to keep, can't use the rope
Standing in the hot shower with wrinkled skin,
A sea full of emotions, can't pick one to pin
I never know where my train of thoughts is,
Hopefully on its way to find my inner peace
From "No, this isn't fair" to "I don't really care",
Have come a long way, holding some tears
Exhausted by living two different lives,
One under the covers and one in the light....
