Analysis of Depression

Constant emotional battle
feeling all alone
spirit shook like a rattle
all thoughts are blown

Falling in a pit of despair
wondering why I even bother
feeling like no one cares
wishing I could disappear

Will it ever get better
will I find piece of mind
will I break these fetters
that wrap and bind

I'll keep climbing out
of this pit that holds me
shake this depression bout
I'll keep living, that's the key
