Analysis of The Quiet of A Poem
Jamal Upshaw 1954 (NYC)
witness the
quiet of a poem
when
the rain falls down at night
your
soft and gentle breeze
shall
catch this soul in flight
the
soft winds against your back
then
darkness tells the light
the calmness of the sea
the things that lovers do
let this
quiet of a poem
dwell inside of you
upon
the
splendid earth
without any regret
