Analysis of Eyes of Deceit

Never the ever
I roamed for forever
The dark and the meek
Took a hold of this freak
Gazing upon the white plain
A child saw a tin-man planting grain
Hands of rust
Scraped along the wheat
When the silent one became vigilant
Hurried the child with a glaring stare
Had nothing much in his pockets
Not a penny to spare
Connectedness of scarcity
Left its print on the surface of a dream
Making ends meet
Where the murder is so sweet
Lethe, they called it
Though no one remembers why
And please do tell us by the by
