Analysis of For you

Some days are good

Some days I struggle

and then there are other days...

I start to have some Hope that

I'm going to get through it and

I manage to put a smile on my face...

Unexpectedly the most random thing

triggers some of my

most cherished memories-

but it doesn't bring a euphoric High

like it did before...

instead that breath of Hope

starts to choke me and instantly

fills me with guilt and self-doubt...

my heart starts to sink

as I succumb to the overwhelming

Sadness that slowly drowns me...

every part of me says to call you

looking for that calm

only you could bring me-

but I have to settle with

reading old messages

that only confirms the

ride or die love we had...

I am Frozen in Time

for what seems like an eternity and

I am forced to relive that exact moment

when my entire world completely changed-

my soul was crushed

and you were gone forever...

You were always the stronger one

trying to keep yourself together

so I can be the emotional Train wreck-

Now it's my turn to be strong...

not only for the kids and for myself

but for you!
