Analysis of God Forgives
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
All that is within me;
Bless who is in control,
Everything that we see.
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
All of His benefits;
He keeps your spirit whole,
Transgressions He acquits.
He forgives all your sin,
And heals you from your ills;
His Spirit cleanse within,
Warming you from your chills.
He redeems from the pit,
Crowns you with steadfast love;
Makes you spiritually fit,
With mercy from above.
He satisfies with good,
That your youth is renewed;
Like an eagle you should,
With the right attitude.
