Analysis of Never Hold a Wish Too Tightly

NEVER HOLD A WISH TOO TIGHTLY
Never hold a wish too tightly;
Let it find its way through life.
Let it search and test the waters;
Let it stay if it is right.

Set your goals and watch them wander;
Let them soar and reach their height.
Test them lightly; give them birth but
Let your grasp on them be light.

Dream your dreams and wish your wishes;
Give them form and give them life.
Some will soar and some will falter;
Some will shine like stars at night.

Never hold a wish too tightly;
Trust to God and His wise sight.
Give your all, then let it wander;
Let it take mount and then take flight.
