Analysis of Night of the Rain
rainwater sinking through my clothing,
tracing the fingers, the tips dripping.
soaking deeper into my heart,
relieving the doubt of my mythical art.
the exhaustion expressed in the coloured clouds,
looking back at those i always felt proud.
the bleeding hands being washed away,
by single droplet of pain shedding away.
the tree's in the yard, smiling very hard,
finding it difficult to look for a way to start.
what could all of this mean?
as the sun goes down leaving a single beam.
the exclamation of joy for the first rain,
holds hands of the wounded heart, escaping out of vain.
dirt in the playground radiating scent,
replays the memories of the last rain,
to breathe again, to live again,
until the very end.

About this poem
The poem is about the very first rain after a long hot summer. The first rain acts as a healer for one and soothes all the pain. Even if temporary, it is a moment of happiness for the nature to be evergreen and spread joy all over the planet. This poem written on the night of the first rain. As joy spreads around the world, the planet heals to bloom for a better day for people who strive to be better everyday.
