Analysis of My love.
Ibhawoh Angela 2005 (Niger state)
When my eyes flutter close,
Love is what makes me see her afterimage in my sleep.
For the life treasures I safe-keep in her soul,
No greater tempest shall from my arm refuse keep.
The dark skin of my love glistens:
A night sky filled with stars.
Even so, my ear, with great attention listens,
To the words from my love that aid to soothe my scars.
If looks be feelings, mine are pure and delightful; like her smile.
If feelings be human, then my love is her.
May the beauty of love never fade in ours awhile.
A lovely illusion, set in my sight forever.
Love is beautiful, and so is my love.
Till eternity, words to show our love: my love, shall never be enough.
