Analysis of Coincidence

Murchana Das 2004 (Assam)

Afterall its 'life'
Usually tells 'he'
Gets bored listening,
Half the time,
Murmured 'she'.

Says 'he' - Eternal is change,
Motionless becomes life,
If rejects change.
Being a minor 'she' , bewildered,
With sudden change in mood.

Claims 'he' - the Cosmos,
Ocean of obvious things.
Grab it or leave it,
You give up, you lose chance,
She got fascinated
But never mind!

She was prejudiced considering him-
 Homosapien who never smiles,
 With fanthomless big-black eyes,
 Extremely serious and cranky,
 Bookish and reticent fellow,
 Whose dangling life sticked,
 With rather two faces-
 Tired for bed,
 Smile with relief.
Ugh! So wacko, 'she' making faces
Replied, One can easily go nuts,
She portrayed him at one go,
Yet never falters to hold on.

And, eventually 'she' could see,
Something out of the box.
The horrible laughter in him,
His potential to sing,
To be the next 'Indian Idol'.
His satirical sense of humour,
Made her felt the terrible pain,
In her gut and die laughing insane.

So, was he unpredictable?Maybe!
Utterly confused, asked herself-
"Was 'he' somewhat a glue or a clue?"
"Wait, what's that feeling?"
Butterflies in my stomach!!
"Is that so? Why it's me?"
"How long will it stay?"
"Where'll it lead to?"
Oh! Forget it.

Everything seemed so hazy;
In between, tells 'he'-
Nothing lasts forever,
Nobody lives forever,
Keep no expectations ever.
"I may remain today",
But, "I mayn't remain the next day".
The reality appear harsh,
Learn to accept it dear.

Minor 'she' felt the agony,
Slumped in deep dejection,
Her heart sank and disappointed,
Slowly, took a deep breath,
Her eyes filled with tears,
Though quite at an ease,
Yet exhausted to say,
Anything at an ease.

Since,there always remains,
A question mark?
Between 'he' and 'she'.
Never knew, they'll meet,
Never knew, they'll converse,
Never knew, they'll be comfortable,
Never knew, they'll be detached.

And, here 'she' stood,
But, there 'he' was.
Ah! Still remains,
A beautiful,
COINCIDENCE.
