Analysis of Resentment
Tina Arnold 1968 (Portland Oregon)
A powerful beast deadly and strong
He'll tear up our souls if we let him grab on
First he kills faith and pride of the heart
Then he'll chew away hope and tear trust apart
He won't step aside, you can't wish him away
Somehow he'll find you and darken your day
He'll stand between lovers thirsting for tears
His powerful weapons, their weakness and fears
He fills us with hate, we're a pawn in his game
Destroying is his mission, RESENTMENT is his name
