Analysis of Shallow; Hollow And Empty
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
A wickedness witnessed inflicted,
Returns what that benefits and to who?
With this done to do continued.
Leaving few if any of those observing,
Left free to feel...
Immuned and unaffected.
This...
'Let's wait and see,
What happens next'...
Numb to dumbness mindset,
Should prove to all...
Something is loose.
Untightened and in need to be corrected.
Yet...
With the mess that surrounds,
Most to see and be aware not to miss.
Still remain the many,
Insisting...
This is their preference wanted to wish.
And if anyone opposes,
Them to offend with a challenge to end...
The spreading of their diseasing ignorance?
They will have no other option,
But destroy their own way of life.
To prove,
An unrelenting cemented to maintain...
Loyalty to beliefs kept keep.
Regardless if the evidence provided reveals,
Fiction that deludes truth and reality is sick.
And diminishes quickly one's mental health!
'Let's wait and see what happens next!'
No offense to anyone.
However...
That 'next' you are waiting to see happen?
Left years ago.
Remember when you had the opportunity,
To use common sense?
But you chose weapons,
To defend your nonsense?
Guess who won?
'This is no time to discuss that.
The storm we just had...
Took everything away from us we valued.
Including weapons to protect ourselves,
From...'
No need to explain.
Since everything...
You folks once claimed to have owned.
Seems to have...well...
Disappeared.
Leaving you homeless, hungry.
And...WHEW...no where to bathe.
Or eliminate that wicked self inflicted,
Evil.
'We are not immigrants.
We are not refugees.
We are not homeless, disenfranchised.
Demeaned or disparaged.'
I know.
These things take time to redefine,
For those with noses up.
Now down in despair.
You know what it takes?
'No.
No, I don't.
I...I...don't have a clue.'
It takes...
Adaptation.
With each step...
Away from the ones,
Who won't let you forget...
Just,
How nasty you have been.
Ooo...wee...ooo.
It takes...
Abahdabah doo adaptation.
With each step...
Away from the ones,
Who won't let you forget...
Just,
How nasty you have been.
Ooo...wee...ooo!
'That is so shallow, hollow...
And empty of shown empathy.
Disrespectful and insensitive.'
From your perspective.
But...
You must admit,
Rhythmically it has potential to fit...
In various genres.
Hip-hop, rock, blues, house, new wave.
Think about it.
The choice is yours to choose and pick.
My ancestors?
From what I have been told,
Were packed in ships as if sardines.
With no room to enjoy dancing at all.
No ceremonial drums heard to hear playing.
And had no choice of genres to pick from.
Can you believe it?
