The Kindness Of Time

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Time given to live it,
Has yet proven a kindness.
To those who find valuable time,
Wasting their minds on whining.
Done to complain each day of the week.
With no rest to get.
Leaving them awake unable to sleep.
And a choosing nothing else to do,
But blame their excuses on others.
Others who refuse,
To waste more of their time...
Finding it their obligation to be patient.
When whiners who complain,
Take it for granted...
A kindness shown to them from others,
Is what others choose to do.
To keep the truth of their miserable lives,
Kept hidden to disguise reality!

'Hi.
So...
How are you feeling these joyful days?'

'Miserable as hell!'

'Well.
At least...
You know better than I do,
About what it is that keeps you happy!'

'And you?
What keeps you so cheerful?'

'Knowing a hell to live it,
Won't have me there repeatedly.
As a regular expected miserable visitor!
And no time of mine do I wish to spend,
Finding more hell to miss as if homesick!
Been there.
Done that.
C-ya!'
