Analysis of When I was a waterfall

When I was a waterfall I rode the moonlight river
It widened to its precipas
And almost made me quiver
I tipped the edge and off I flew
Falling like a child
I jumped and splashed every puddle that had been on every side
But then I returned to the river bed
Where my weary teardrops
Had wet a weary head
